Moree Real Estate is affiliated with C. A. Brown Associates, which are a rural based Valuation and Consultancy firm covering all facets of valuation practice. We specialise in irrigated and dryland farming properties, but a country-based practice needs to cover all aspects of Valuation.
Our company has been continually expanding since it's establishment in 1985 and we now have 3 valuers and 2 office support staff operating at our modern offices in Moree.
Our expertise centres on the north west of New South Wales and west to Bourke, and in southern Queensland from Goondiwindi, west to St George. However, we have carried out valuations as far north as Charters Towers in Queensland and as far south as the Murrumbidgee region in southern New South Wales.
All our valuers are registered with the Australian Property Institute and we value rural, residential, retail, commercial and industrial properties, covering all your valuation requirements.

CLIFF BROWN
Cliff is a fellow of the Australian Property Institute.
He has 35 years experience in the Property field, initially as a District Valuer with The Valuer Generals Department of New South Wales. Cliff has been in private practice for 20 years and been involved in valuations from 1965. He has experience in all forms of valuation however, specialises in rural based valuation and more especially cotton irrigation.

PAUL KELLY
Paul graduated from Hawkesbury in 1999 and gained experience in rural and residential valuations with a strong rural background. Paul is a licensed valuer. Paul is also an associate member of the Australian Property Institute.

CARGILL COTTON
Moree Real Estate is affiliated with Cargill Cotton Limited. We buy cotton on behalf of Cargill Cotton Limited. The agreement between Moree Real Estate and Cargill started at the beginning of 2005 and our aim is to become competitive in the cotton accumulation process on behalf of Cargill Cotton within the Gwydir Valley.
We believe our knowledge of the area and the people who live in it gives us a good advantage for which to compete in this progress.

WATER SALES
The Moree Real Estate team have had experience in water transactions for over 15 years. We basically buy and sell water in two ways.
Much of the trading is still done over the telephone linking sellers with buyers. Moree Real Estate still trades large volumes of water in this fashion. However, increasingly, we are shifting the transfer process to a national, online trading system called the "Water Exchange".
The Water Exchange is Australian owned and Australian run, and is currently the country's largest water asset manager and transfer facilitator. The Water Exchange is a group that was formed in 1998 and now operates in every state in Australia.
The Water Exchange provides an independent and completely transparent trading floor for all classes of water in all areas, in all states.
The site also gives users the most up-to-date information on all water related developments. In addition, to save you looking at buying and selling platforms continuously, simply register your specific needs through Water Alert and the exchange will contact you when there is something of interest to you.
When an order is place with the Water Exchange, the entire valley is automatically notified of your order. This provides a maximum opportunity of a trade occurring.
Trades occur online and the lodgement of forms also occur electronically. There is no more paperwork.
If you are interested in buying, selling or leasing water, visit the Water Exchange site to register. There is no cost or obligation associated with the registration process. You are simply providing the necessary information to identify yourself with the relevant authority. Once you have registered your participation agreement, you will be issued with a user ID and PIN. This protects your anonymity and account information, as well as protecting you from accidentally operating in markets not available to you.
We are happy to field any enquires you may have regarding getting started with the system or if you require more information. We are also able to make a trade under your authority if you can't or don't wish to make the trade yourself.
